(1990-2008 ) In 1990 the Smiths went to the High Plains of Central Mexico …beginning in Moctezuma Bob and Betty Sue established a strong church and Bible Institute then began to systematically found church after church in some of the 400 surrounding villages without the Gospel. Tens of thousands come to Moctezuma for harvest seasons. This provides endless opportunities for open air evangelism, Gospel films and literature distribution. Youth camps were established primarily to host a week of concentrated evangelism and discipleship. A much needed medical and dental clinic was set up with many medical volunteers coming periodically from the US.  Many churches sent members, especially their youth, for the life changing foreign mission trip.
